UV can be used to disinfect drinking water, wastewater, process water, and ultra pure. It is the chemical-free, environmentally friendly alternative to chlorine disinfections, using rays of UV light to kill dangerous micro-organisms preventing them from multiplying – including bacteria, viruses and yeasts.

The quartz sleeve is the protective barrier between the water passing through the UV unit and the UV lamp.  It is important to remove the lamp and quartz sleeve on at least a six monthly basis* to clean the quartz sleeve. UV Lamps and Quartz Sleeves are available in different sizes.
